Hi, I’m Emily (she/her). I’m a neurodivergent, queer inclusive therapist and mom to three highly sensitive, neurodivergent children. My identity, motherhood, and lived experiences all shape how I practice. Over time, I’ve also been learning more about myself—and I bring that same openness and curiosity into my work with clients.
I earned my master’s in social work from San Diego State University and have years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, grief, and the perinatal journey. My clinical expertise is deeply informed by my own life: I’ve walked through pregnancy losses, birth trauma, and perinatal anxiety myself. These experiences gave me both a personal understanding of how isolating and overwhelming this period can be, and a passion for creating safe, affirming care for others.
I am especially committed to supporting people in all the ways families are built—through pregnancy, loss, postpartum adjustments, and LGBTQ+ family-building journeys. As a queer therapist, I know how important it is to have a space where your identity is affirmed and understood. I believe you deserve therapy that honors your unique story, your values, and your lived experience.
In our work together, I use trauma- and attachment-focused approaches, drawing on EMDR, ERP, CBT, and mindfulness. My goal is to offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you can process, heal, and reconnect with yourself.
Outside of therapy, I’m in the daily work of parenting three amazing, sensitive kids while continuing my own journey of healing and self-discovery. Life is messy, beautiful, and often challenging—and it’s a privilege for me to walk alongside others as they navigate their own.
