I was born and raised in San Diego County, California. I studied Human Development at California State University San Marcos and then completed my Master's in Social Work from San Diego State University in 2009. I have worked with children and families for my whole career. In 2013 I become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker while 37 weeks pregnant with my first born, which I believe is no coincidence that I am now a perinatal mental health therapist! I have always focused on working with families, but becoming a mom transformed me and with my own perinatal anxiety and birth trauma I gained a thirst for information regarding the transition to motherhood. I know from education, professional and personal experience how challenging the perinatal period can be. I believe my strength is creating a relationship with a client that is judgement free. I create a space where people can be their true selves and can start healing within the therapeutic relationship.
