Something brought you here today to my therapy page. Maybe you were referred to me, found me online or through another connection. This is the moment you get to make the choice to no longer do this alone. No more suffering in silence. Reaching out for help is no little feat. If we are the right fit we will work towards getting you to living the life you desire and deserve. My focus and specialization is life transitions, specifically around the perinatal period. This encompasses the journey to becoming a parent, preparing for parenthood and the postpartum period. This period of time can be overwhelming, exciting, lonely, terrifying and even full of loss. You may not even know what you need and that is ok! We will create a judgment free nurturing space where you are encouraged to be your truest self.
My focus is to help individuals meet their unique goals and this starts with me creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship. It is a privilege to hold space for you as you work through past/current pain, learn to be more present, decrease anxiety and depressive symptoms, and/or feel like yourself again. I use an eclectic approach that will be tailored to meet your needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
