I’m Emily Beltran (she/her), a neurodivergent, queer-affirming therapist specializing in perinatal mental health, OCD, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and parenting support. I know seeking support takes courage—especially when you’re worried about being misunderstood. Here, you’ll find a safe, affirming space to show up exactly as you are.
What I Offer
The perinatal period looks different for everyone, and I support individuals and families through its many stages. Whether you’re exploring family building as an LGBTQ+ individual or couple, navigating fertility challenges, experiencing loss or pregnancy after loss, or adjusting to life postpartum, you deserve care that feels inclusive and compassionate.
I also provide therapy for parents navigating the joys and challenges of raising young children—especially highly sensitive or neurodivergent kids. As both a mom of three highly sensitive, neurodivergent boys and a former preschool teacher and parent educator with experience in early childhood mental health, I bring both personal and professional understanding to this work. Together, we’ll create space to process the stresses of parenting while supporting your child’s growth and your own well-being.
This journey—whether through parenthood, healing from trauma, or navigating OCD—can bring joy, but also uncertainty, overwhelm, grief, or fear. Together, we’ll work through challenges like intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, and trauma, while building tools for healing, resilience, and connection. You don’t have to navigate it alone—I will walk alongside you with warmth, respect, and evidence-based support.
How I Work
Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in safety. I draw from trauma-informed and attachment-focused approaches, integrating EMDR, ERP, CBT, and mindfulness to support your healing and growth. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, reduce distress, and feel more grounded in your life.
